Damn. Once again I forgot that I even had a freakin website! ugh. Only remembered it because my DSL was down !!AGAIN!! and I thought it would make a good rant but dammit.. couldn't even get into Blogger until just a few minutes ago when the service came back up. I know there is a movement towards non-negative blogging but this shit is ridiculous...
I see it all over the web - People getting excited because their new DSL line is to be installed. Of course it's never installed on time, then when it is installed, it doesn't work right off the bat which requires waiting on a tech person. When it's finally working the higher speeds are mind blowing and the excitement returns once again. Here's the pisser... you can generally count on that 43.3 connection at least 90% of the time. Can't say the same for DSL so is anything truly gained? Right this second I turned to my server to do a true speed test and the damn thing can't even connect to get a speed!! What is up with that???
