Well, it had to be done... had to apply for a loan for the Riviera. There's a pretty large gap between the loan value and the asking price so that could present a problem. Hopefully it will all work out. I have got to get to North Carolina and see my best girl friend before summer is over. I promised and I never break a promise. Now I know you are thinking "yeah right" but I honestly don't. I will move heaven and earth to keep one but I am very careful not to promise things I can't deliver.
Speaking of moving heaven and earth, I'd do it tonight if I thought it would make Todd feel better. He is normally like me - on the go and quite happy about it. Tonight he looks like walking dead and his get up and go has got up and went. It's sad - almost as bad as watching Christopher when he is sick.
Found out that it will cost at least $1000 to fix the windshield wipers on my car. I guess I will continue to stay home when it rains unless I can come up with a way to replace the whole car. Talk about a bummer deal... I bought my car two years ago for almost $8000. It's a really nice car - very sharp looking. Asked a guy tonight what he'd give me for trade-in... $2000. Ummm... NO!! I think not! I will keep it and drive it only on dry days and figure out a way to buy a car with working wipers for rainy ones. Test drove a beautiful Riviera.. jet black with black leather interior. My kinda car. I just have a hard time with all those zeros. Three zeros I can handle... four is too many... four is for when you are buying a house.
