I got a raise!! Things are going so incredibly well right now, I'm almost afraid to breathe. I keep telling myself that all of my hard work, perservence and faith have paid off and I'm relatively sure that's it but still... I am used to everything going wrong. I wish I could quit worrying and enjoy the fact that I am happier now than I have ever been in my life. My boss says women have the incredible ability to worry about everything.. even things that don't concern them. That's kinda funny but also a little too true. Anyway, I am happy happy happy and I am going to quit talking about it so I don't jinx it. Life is grand!

Yard cleaning time! I always wait til the hottest part of summer to decide the yard really needs worked over. We have a serious sumac problem here that seems to pop up overnight. This time it had grown up the side of the house almost to the roof. That was a lot of fun pulling it down. Todd says I overdo a lot of things and he was worried I'd get busy and forget how hot it is outside. It was 73 when I started at 8AM and almost 85 when I quit before noon but I am happy to report that I didn't overdo it. It really doesn't bother me when I do work too hard. I'd rather be accused of overwork than laziness. With that said, I need to get moving again.. off to the store so I have stuff for supper tonight. p.s. Aunt Rosetta, I love and miss you too!!
